About Me

Pink Dramatic grew out of my love for anything you can personalize. I love how something as simple as a name, photo, date, color, or your own words can turn an ordinary product into something that truly feels like yours.

I used to make and design things myself. I loved coming up with ideas and creating them, but over time I realized that running a creative business involves much more than actually being creative. There are rules, administration, terms and conditions, and all kinds of requirements that come with selling products. Of course, rules are necessary, but at some point I found myself spending more time dealing with everything around creating than actually creating.

For me, that became even more difficult because I live with a chronic illness and have to be careful with my energy.

I am not sharing that because I want sympathy. Quite the opposite. Just like anyone else, I want to work, build something of my own, and earn my own money. The difference is that a traditional job with fixed hours and a fixed pace does not always fit what my body is able to handle.

When you live with a chronic illness and do not receive government financial support, earning your own income can be a real challenge. You want to participate and be independent, while at the same time having to respect the limits of your body. Pink Dramatic is my way of finding a solution that works for me.

I can work when I have the energy and stop when I need to. Some days I can work for hours, while on other days I can do much less. Having that freedom allows me to keep working without constantly pushing myself beyond what my body can manage.

It also gave me the chance to return to the part I have always enjoyed most: coming up with ideas, discovering beautiful products, and seeing all the different ways something can be personalized.

Why Pink Dramatic

On Pink Dramatic, I bring together products that catch my attention because they can be made more personal. That might be a gift, but it could just as easily be an invitation, clothing, something for your home, a wedding, a birthday, or a holiday.

Not everything you see here was designed by me.

Some products and ideas started with something I came up with myself. Others are products I discover while browsing and simply find too beautiful, original, or fun not to share. I think it is important to be honest about that. Pink Dramatic is not a website where I pretend that every design is my own.

It is a combination of my own ideas and products created by other designers that fit the kind of things I genuinely enjoy and want to share.

What interests me most are products that still leave room for you to make them your own. You might be able to add a name, upload a photo, change the wording, choose a color, or adjust a design to better match your style.

That freedom to make something personal is exactly what I love about customization.

Building My Own Income

For me, this is a way to build an income through work that fits within what I am physically able to do.

I do not expect anyone to buy something because of my health or personal circumstances. If you purchase something through Pink Dramatic, I hope you do so simply because you found a product you genuinely like.

My story is part of this website, but it does not have to be the reason you are here.

I want this to be a place where you can discover ideas, products, and ways to create something that feels more like you. Sometimes the idea starts with me, and sometimes I discover a product created by another designer that I think deserves to be shared.

At the same time, Pink Dramatic gives me the opportunity to stay creative and work toward earning my own income in a way that fits my life.

That is really the heart of my story.

I do not want to be treated as someone who should simply sit on the sidelines because I am chronically ill. I want to participate, work, create, and find my own way to make that possible.
